lori-rocks: Andenes Lighthouse by Roy Samuelsen Picture taken October 22, 2009. The red color was not visible with the eye and came as a surprise when the picture came on camera. Andenes Lighthouse was opened in 1859 and is still in use, although it has now been automated. The lighthouse is 40 meters tall and has an inside staircase with 148 steps.
